Yummy Sunday #4: Inun-unan or Paksiw

Me and my 5-year old had this inun-unan or pakswing Tilapia paired with freshly cooked white rice for supper tonight. I bought this at Walmart frozen, I would have preferred a fresh Tilapia but from where we live where the nearest ocean is about 8 hours to drive in a car, it is next to impossible to get fresh seafoods. So I am just thrilled and satisfied to get some fish that I like and familiar with just enough to satisfy my craving.

I am also very impress with my 5-year of how he can eat any kind of fish especially dried fish as long as he's eating it with white rice as picky as he is. After he finished up the rice and fish that I gave him for supper, he asked for more rice but did not want anymore fish but soy sauce sprinkled on his rice. If worst comes to worst, I would not have any problem feeding him as long as we have rice in stock and soy sauce! LOL! I won't have any problems taking him back to the Philippines either since I trained him to eat dried fish and some other filipino food that some typical Americans or half-Americans wouldn't eat!
