Officially Fall!

I couldn't be any happier that Autumn season has officially started yesterday! This is one of the seasons that I am always happy to look forward to, the other one is spring! I love those two seasons because first, the weather is just perfect for me, not too cold and not too hot! The Spring season always brings beauty to everything since it is the time where trees, plants, flowers, etc. starts to bud and blooms. And there's Fall season where all the trees and the leaves turns into these beautiful and lovely color combination of yellow, orange, red and well, you all know what I am saying!

Anyhow, earlier, me and  my boys went outside to take advantage of the beautiful weather we are having today. You can definitely tell that it's Fall, it just something the way the wind feels and of course the leaves are falling! While outside, I snapped a few of my flowers that are still left blooming but soon I won't be seeing them anymore! Some of the petals of my Zinnias are starting to turn brown. I also have a tropical miniature Banana plant that I put outside when summer started and it is also about time to put it back inside or else it won't survive the much cooler weather.

So anyway, here are some of the flowers that are left outside. At least, they are still giving colors to our pitiful yard! Another thing I love about the cooler weather is, weeds and grass starts to die, so therefore I don't have to worry about cutting them, but our yard still needs grooming bad! LOL!

My Whirling Butterflies is still giving me lovely blooms, the best part of it is, this is a Perennial so it should come back next year!

I don't remember the name of this plant but this is an Annual plant that I bought from Walmart which means it won't be coming back next year. The reason why I bought it is, first it blooms until Fall season, it is still giving some colors to our yard and secondly, we have this plant in the Philippines growing wildly and I like the idea of having it in our yard. Seeing this flower every time I go outside reminds me of my native land!

Here is my Zinnia, still looking pretty although some of the petals are turning brown!

My Kalanchoe is still doing pretty good!

And lastly, my miniature Banana plant! I can't believe how big my Banana has gotten considering when it came in the mail that it was almost dead. About time to bring this baby inside the house because I surely don't want it to die! This also reminds me back home, we were surrounded of Banana plants where I used to live!
