Happy New Year to all! Some countries already started the 2013! Hope this new year will bring more peace and love and good health to me and my family and everyone else!

Anyway, above pictures are of my 13 round fruits that I gathered up for the New Year and second one is Puto Cheese that I made today. In the Philippines, our tradition there is to celebrate the New Year at midnight at New Year's Eve. We also gather 13 round fruits to start the new year fruitful and for good luck. I made some of these colorful puto cheeses to maybe start the New Year colorful and plus my 6-year old son loves them!

Anyhow, I hope everyone who already celebrated the New Year had a wonderful celebrations with their family! As for us, our actual celebration will be tomorrow..

Love My New Toy!

I thought for sure Santa didn't hear my wish because I kept looking under the Christmas tree if he left me something but I didn't see anything for me other than the ones that my friends brought on Christmas Eve. It was totally fine with me, I already told myself not to get my hopes high because what I asked for was a bit pricey and kinda out of budget range.

But to my surprised, when we were getting ready to open presents Christmas morning, this present that had my name on it just magically appeared in the very last minute. But still, I didn't expect that it would be it. I just didn't really want to get my hopes high and get disappointed. I was thinking that it was something else, but sure enough when I opened it, it was the toy that I asked for! How grateful I was seeing it and immediately played around with it for a few minutes..

Anyhow, what I asked for was a new lens, the Nikon DX 35mm lens. And yes it takes an excellent shots! The image is just naturally sharp and great in low light! Here are some pictures below that I took using my new lens. These photos were straight out of my camera, didn't enhance nor edited it...

My First Gingerbread House

Above is a picture of the first Gingerbread House I have ever made. You can definitely tell that it's my first time, it looks like a mess but I like it anyway and I had a lot of fun making it. I originally bought it for my 6-year old son since he said that the one that he made at school got broken. I saw the Gingerbread house kit on sale at Kmart the other day and decided to buy it for him so he can make another one.

But when I got home, he brought the Gingerbread house he made at school and said that his teacher fixed it for him but he still liked my little surprise that I got him he said. Well, when we decided to make it last night, he was helping me at first and then all of the sudden, he just abandoned me and started playing with my IPod. So I ended up making it all by myself! LOL!

Anyway, "my" Gingerbread House is sitting on our dining table right now. I really love it even though it is a mess. My husband said it looks beautiful and so did my 6-year old. Of course he is taking credit than he helped too which is perfectly fine with me! LOL!

Bundling Up For Winter With Fashion

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

What is the first thing that pops into your head when you hear the word "winter"? The very first thing that I think about hearing that word is cold! Yes, during winter time, the weater is mostly cold. I mean there are days that the weather gets warmer but the average temperature here in NC during winter time is usually about below 40's.

Anyway, there are some people that doesn't like winter because it somehow messes up their sense of fashion. Well, it doesn't really have to be that way. The way I look at it, since you have to wear so many layers to beat the cold weather, winter time is the perfect opportunity to show your sense of style. With all the layers of clothes that you have to have, there are so many combinations you can choose! Like for an example those pictures above. Those are the kind of clothes that I am comfortable wearing out. For me, fashion means not only looking good but also feeling comfortable of what you got on!

Anyhow, as you can see above, I have on two different outfits. The first outfit is more of a dressy style, while the second outfit is very casual! I paired those outfits with the No nonsense tights and leggings as you can see in the picture. I just love how you can easily find the No nonsense tights and leggings pretty much everywhere. They are available at any drugs or grocery stores and any retail stores, plus they come in so much different colors. Just the perfect addition to your wardrobe everyday to mix and match!

Anyway, if you would like to get an update from them, you can alway like their page at No nonsense on Facebook or you can follow them on twitter at https://twitter.com/benononsense. In case you didn't know, No nonsense is partnering up with Jill Martin. Yes the tv presonality Jill Martin that you see on tv that talks about  some of the latest trends today! Sunny But Chilly

Beautiful day outside. The sun is shining so brightly but just don't let the bright sunlight fool you because it is pretty chilly as well. It would have been a nice day to do some outdoor work but too cold for me!

Anyway, only 7 more days left till Christmas, is everybody getting excited yet? I know I am and so does my 6-year old. He's been so curious of the presents that has his name on it under the Christmas tree. He can't hardly wait to open all of them and see if he got what he asked for! Seven more days and he'll know! :)

Youth Summer Camp

I am just so glad that my first grader is in the Cub Scout now. He will learn so much good things from it. It will give him so much confidence that he can do anything as long as he will try and determine to do it. In their award ceremony two weeks ago, he earned so many rewards and I can tell that he is so proud of his self for accomplishing something and earning something from it. It is really nice to teach kids at a young age that if they work hard enough, they'll earn something good!

Anyhow, this coming summer they'll be doing some kind of youth summer camp in their Cub Scout. He is already talking about how excited he is to camp out. Me on the other hand, I am sure will be worried and nervous to be away from my son! But I am sure that the adults will take good care of the kids!

My Christmas Centerpiece

Picture above is my centerpiece on my dining table. I know it is just simple and not all that elegant or fancy but I love it anyway! I did not really decorate this year because I have a one year old who's into everything, literally every single thing in the house that he can see or able to reach! I did not put our 7ft Christmas tree because we don't have a space for it which I really hate because I love our 7ft Christmas tree. So I only had a 4ft Christmas that I bought last year. I just couldn't celebrate Christmas without giving my boys a Christmas tree.

Anyway, the 4ft Christmas tree is sitting on our side table near the window and of course my one year has been so mesmerized of all the ornaments that are hanging. He has never seen anything like it before and very curious of what they are. So everyday, I have to deal with him pulling any of the ornaments that his little hands can reach. Good thing he hasn't been really messing with presents under the tree but there are times that he'll pull one out!

Anyhow, that's about what I have put out for Christmas decors. I didn't even put anything outside either. Maybe next year I'd feel like it. There is just too many things going on this year. Been so busy lately that I just don't think I have all the time to decorate the house! Anyway, I hope everybody will have the MERRIEST CHRISTMAS! And please let's not forget what CHRISTMAS is all about! JESUS CHRIST!

Santa May Bring What I Asked For!

Not 100% sure but Santa might bring the lens that I asked for Christmas! LOL! I've seen the hint but like I said, it's not 100% sure. I will just have to wait until Christmas day and see if he brought it or not! I am just too excited and I am pretty sure I am not alone on that!

But even if Santa won't bring what I asked for, I am still fine with it. As long as my boys will have something to open for Christmas. That is the most important thing for me! I am excited for them both to open their presents. I know my oldest will love what he's getting!

Got A New Horse For Christmas

My stepdaughter just received a horse as a Christmas present from her boyfriend. She's been wanting one for a long time and she finally got one. I was thinking of buying her and her boyfriend a White Cowboy Hats for Christmas as pranks. They they can both ride the horse with the hats on and they'll just need a cowboy boots to go with it! LOL!

Good Time At The Christmas Parade

Me and my oldest son who is a Cub Scout member attended our first Christmas parade ever earlier today. The Cub Scout had their own float and we were there to support it. Me and him were supposed to ride the float but it was a little too crowded so we decided to ride on the back of the truck. I had so much fun waving at all the people who came to witness the Christmas parade. I also took a bunch of pictures which I am sharing some below..

Almost Forgot Her Birthday!

Yikes! I almost forgot my younger sister's birthday. Thank goodness I remembered a few minutes ago that today is the 6th and my sister's birthday. I immediately went to her wall and posted my greeting on there. Well, technically I'm hours late already but it wouldn't really matter to her as long as she'll read what I have posted on her wall. And aside from that, I also sent her a greeting from Chikka plus a P300 load for her cellphone as my birthday gift!

Plus Size Prom Dress

Nowadays, it is not impossible to find hard to find things, thanks to the internet. I mean you can literally find anything on there, all you got to do is type it what you are looking for! An example of that is plus size prom dress 2013.Not all stores carry a plus size clothing and if they do it is very limited.

My Adorable Boys Ready For Christmas

So here is the most recent picture of my two adorable and handsome boys! This was taken yesterday evening right before we went to attend my first grader's Winter Musical Performance at their school. This would have been the perfect picture to make a Christmas card out of but I already made Christmas cards online two weeks ago and actually very disappointed of how it looks!

But anyway, I am still gonna send it out to my friends and my family because I am not planning on wasting my money that I paid for it. Good thing though that I only had 12 Christmas cards made. So this picture of my boys will have to wait 'til next year to be put on a Christmas card.

Anyhow, I really love how this picture turned out. I edited it and I'm pretty happy of how it looks! I am not an expert when it comes to editing a photo, I am still learning. There are so many things that I need to learn about it. But I am doing it little baby step at a time. Eventually I will reach where I want to be...
