Free Shipping Plus 30% Off

This is the kind of deal that I couldn't resist! Aeropostale is having this deal right now. They're offering free shipping only for tonight plus 30% off of their clearance! I just got done ordering a few minutes ago, I had 11 items which were mostly t-shirts, they were on clearance for $6.99 each but with 30% off, I got them for $4.89 each, originally priced at almost $20 each. I only had to pay less than $60 including tax plus I will be getting 2.5% of that money through ebates! Good thing I waited a few more days. I was gonna order from them a few days ago, this tiny little voice was telling me to just wait and be patient and this is the reason why!

Anyway, I ordered some shirts and sunglasses for my brothers back in the Philippines. I wanted to buy some tops for my sisters but they didn't really have any left in their sizes, maybe next time. I am sure they will be having this kind of deal in the future again. I still have plenty of time to stuff for my balik-bayan box to be sent to my family in the Philippines by next year! I am sure that my brothers are going to love the shirts that I got them! Well, they better be! LOL! :)

A Nice Little Sideline Job

A lot of people nowadays are getting creative in making a little bit of money to bring in extra income a month. As hard as it is these days, every little bit  you can bring in is a big help. You can still have sideline job even if you're a stay at home mom. A nice little sideline job that you can do at home would be massage therapist. This is the kind of job that is flexible and can be done in your own home. There is a lot of school for massage therapy that you can attend to become a licensed massage therapist! All you got to do is browse around!

Another Free Full-Size VS Fantasies Mist

I received another coupons from Victoria's Secret in the mail today and one of that is a free full-size VS Fantasies mist. It's probably the only thing that I'll be redeeming! The only thing that I do not like them giving free stuff is that, it is only redeemable in-store. It wouldn't be that bad if the nearest VS store is just a few blocks away but it's not, it is at least about 45 minutes drive and we do not make special trips just for that because gas is so dang expensive.

But whenever I received free stuff like this, I do make an exception sometimes. Since we only have one car, I have to ask my husband's permission to go, sometimes he'll let me, sometimes not. It really sucks sometimes not having your own car. But I'm gonna have to make an effort to convince him to let me go this time because I don't ask to go to the mall often and I sure don't want this free mist to go to waste. This would be a good addition to my stockpile to be sent to the Philippines for my family! :)

Effects Of Bankruptcy

Most everybody is having hard time right now due to the downfall of the economy that seems to be not getting any better. Some people don't have any choice but to file for bankruptcy because of so many different reasons. For people who are in this situation now, they probably already know the effects of having to file for bankruptcy, but for those who are in the process of filing, you may want to read this article called effects of bankruptcy to somehow get yourselves ready for it!

Beautiful Liatris

One of the flowers that you will see in our yard blooming right now are these Liatris. I took these pictures yesterday when there was nothing else for me to do. I couldn't help myself but to go out there and take pictures of these beauties while they are still blooming beautifully. I only have a few plants of them, so maybe next year I will get more to add more colors to my garden. I really love the uniqueness of the flower's formation. To me, it is quiet unique compare to the other flowers that I have around here!

Anyway, I really love the outcome of the pictures. I used my 35mm lens, I just love the natural sharpness it gives to the pictures. These pictures are SOOC or straight out of the camera. The only thing I did was add the watermarks!

Thinking Of Separating Fashion And Photography Blog

I've been seriously thinking for how many weeks now of separating fashion and photography blog. I just don't think it is working on this one blog. I am thinking of keeping this blog just for photography and make another blog perhaps buy a new domain for my fashion blog. But that's gonna be another bill for me to pay every year. I am gonna have to think this thoroughly if I want to go through all that trouble! :(

Free Moroccan Argan Oil

I just got a free ArganEsque Moroccan Argan oil that originally cost $29.99 on Amazon. It didn't cost me a single penny to get it and even the shipping was free! How did I do it? Well, I am member to this site where you can make extra money by doing micro jobs such as liking a page on FB or commenting or liking a video on youtube. The money you earned is depending on how much job you do and gets approved by the employer. It is kinda complicated at first but it is really easy when you get the hang of it.

Anyhow back to subject, there was a job there where the employer was testing a free giveaway promotion and that's where I got the free Argan oil plus if I did the job right I will 90 cents for it! LOL! Anyway, below is the proof of my free ArganEsque Moroccan Argain Oil for hair treatment...

My Stockpiles For My Family In The Philippies

My order from Victoria's Secret from a week ago came yesterday which is pictured above. I paid almost $40 for all of them which still sounds like a lot of money but I consider it a good deal since I only paid $2.99 each for the 3 lotions in the front which originally cost $12 each, and $4.99 each for the ones at the back which originally cost $15 each. So I actually saved over a hundred dollars which to me is a lot of money!

I am stockpiling these to be sent to my family in the Philippines hopefully some time next year. I originally wanted to send them a balik-bayan box about this time so they can get it by Christmas but since money is a little tight right now for me, I decided to change it to next year. Below are some of my personal pile that I haven't used which I am planning to send as well...

Just a few hours ago, I decided to buy more lotions and mists since Victoria Secret is having 5/$30 and since I still had one of my $10 coupons, I decided to buy 5 and used that coupon. So I only had to pay less than $30 for 5 items and that's including shipping and tax! So far, these are all what I have saved for my box and the ones that I just ordered today. I still have plenty of time to collect more items. I am just gonna do it little by little so it won't be much of a burden in my pocket! ;)

Assorted Flowers Straight From My Garden!

These pictures were taken the other day right after I had plucked these beautiful assorted flowers straight from my garden. I love seeing these beautiful blooms outside as well as having it in the vase inside my house to add some colors! The Gladiolas are in full-bloom outside. I have varieties of colors out there but my favorite ones are the yellow/orange that you can see in the pictures above and also the purple one which is not pictured! In the pictures, I also have some of my Butterfly bush blooms and Coneflowers. I thought they look so pretty, don't you think?

Is It Worth $39?

So these items are in my cart right now waiting for me to purchase or cancel. I am really hesitating if I should buy it or not. $39 is still a lot of money for me although if you consider the original prices for each item I would save a bunch of money if I buy them now, with the help of my $10 birthday card of course! It's not that I need these stuff right now but I am thinking of stocking and saving up for my family in the Philippines when I get ready to send them another balik-bayan box, hopefully next year.
My original plan was to send them one about this time so they can get it before Christmas time but I backed out since money is a little tight right now. I am not so sure if I should go ahead and buy these items now or wait for the other Annual Sale which will be held around Fall time. Having a limited income can really impact your decision when it comes to shopping even when it's a good deal!

Straight-Hair Look!

Yesterday I was in the mood for a straight-hair look. So the night before, I straightened my hair using a straightening iron because it takes a while to do it. I won't have time to do it on Sunday morning since I'm always running late no matter how I early I get up. The next morning, all I had to do was run the straightening iron on my hair a couple of times just to get the wrinkles out from sleeping on it.

Sometimes it's nice to look a little different once in a while. A lot of people have told me that I look better with a straight hair that I should have it permanently straight. But I really don't want to do it for I love my naturally curl hair. A lot of people here in America would love to have my curly hair and I have received a lot of compliments of how pretty my hair is. So I don't have any plans whatsoever of having my hair permanently straight, like I said, it is okay to do it once in a while and that is when I have time! :)

Do-It-Yourself Leopard-Print Nails

I love to do animal-prints on my nails. I know it would probably easier to buy a kit at the store where it would look so perfect on your nails and very easy to do. But I'm all about saving money and challenging myself! Those already printed stick-on thingy, whatever you call it are kinda expensive and being a stay at home who does everything around the house, it will be just a waste of my money to buy it since I know for sure that they won't stay long!

Anyway, last night, I had the time to actually paint my nails and did some leopard prints on it. I used 3 colors to do it. For the base coat, as you can see I used a brownish color, then for the spot is black and if you notice, the spot is not a perfect circle! That's the key to it and then I put a lighter color on the black spot and voila! It's that simple! :))
