Wish Granted!

The 2nd laptop that my husband bought me in 2009 got broken a few months ago and that really left a bad taste in his mouth which is completely understandable! He vows not to buy me another one again, not because he doesn't want me to have one, but because he thinks laptop is a waste of money and will just have to be replaced after a few years.

He believes laptops are not really built to last a lifetime like desktop computers where you can replace parts if they wear out which I can totally agree! But I am so used to using a laptop that I would rather have one than a desktop computer which I already but I'm always in agony every time I use it for it is as slow as Christmas! LOL!

Anyway, my husband knew that I wanted a new laptop and I voiced that I would get one, one way or another, with or without his help! That had been on top of my wishlist for Christmas but since we were having hard time financially, I kind of told myself to just forget about it, it's not happening this time and it's not really important! I will get it eventually! So I didn't think anymore of it!

Anyhow, sometimes things works out in a mysterious way! My husband gave me a $100 Amazon and a $5 Starbucks gift cards for Christmas and I remembered that I also have a $40 gift code on Amazon. So I checked if I will be able to get a laptop for that price! Lo and behold, I found an Acer Chromebook laptop for $149.99 on Amazon! It's not brand new but it is certified refurbished, so I am fine with it! I bought it and I'm so happy that my wish was granted in the forms of gift card, thanks to my husband! LOL!

Before I bought the laptop, I informed him about my plan, he wasn't vey thrilled about it but he said I can do whatever I pleased to use the gidt card on! So that was my go signal and I bought the laptop which is what it looks like in the picture below! I can't hardly wait to get it in the mail!
